About The Festival

India is famous for its vivid culture, traditional festivals, and the highest number of official languages all over the globe. ASSOCHAM, Indias Premier Apex Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India, proposes to organise the 1st India International Festival of Performing Arts (IIFPA) with an objective of showcasing and promoting the richness of the Indian Art and Culture to National and International Audiences. IIFPA will be a 3 day theatre festival to be organised in New Delhi. From, Play to Musical, dance to drama, comedy, history, mythologies, Dastangoi and many more. The 3 days festival will be full of spectacular, genre-defying performances for each taste.

The Festival proposes to showcase acclaimed Indian and International plays while inspiring audiences, rejuvenating artists and stimulating the industry, and forging productive relationships among the creative minds. More than just a performance, the Festival proposes to be the catalyst of partnerships, B2B, and showcase India’s brilliant work to the global audience.

IIFPA is a uniquely curated Festival that is multidisciplinary, multilingual, and international in scope. The Festival stands in its commitment to bringing together critically acclaimed work from different disciplines under the umbrella of a single festival. IIFPA highlights new ways of storytelling, new approaches to combining disciplines, and new views on contemporary themes and issues.
