SSC CGL 2023 Application Form

SSC CGL 2023 Syllabus

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the new exam pattern and syllabus for the SSC CGL 2023 exam. The Tier-1 Exam of the SSC CGL 2023 is scheduled to be conducted in June-July 2023. SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern

The SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam is qualifying in nature and consists of objective multiple-choice questions. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam consists of 4 sections:

  1. Quantitative Aptitude
  2. General Intelligence and Reasoning
  3. English Language
  4. General Awareness.

Each section has 25 questions, and the candidates have to complete the exam in 60 minutes. The Quantitative Aptitude section in the SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam focuses on the candidate’s ability to use numbers appropriately. This section is common in Tier-1 and Tier-2, and some topics are repetitive in both exams so, candidates should prepare well for these topics to save time during their next stage of preparation.

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam Pattern

Candidates who qualify for the Tier 1 exam are eligible to appear for the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam. The Tier 2 exam consists of three papers, out of which Paper 1 is compulsory for all posts. Paper 2 is for candidates applying for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), and Paper 3 is for candidates applying for the post of Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.

The syllabus for SSC CGL Tier 2 exam includes the following subjects:

For Paper 2 (JSO), the subject is Statistics, and for Paper 3 (Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer), the subject is General Studies (Finance and Economics).
