SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam Pattern
The SSC CGL Tier-1 Exam is qualifying in nature and consists of objective multiple-choice questions. The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam consists of 4 sections:
- Quantitative Aptitude
- General Intelligence and Reasoning
- English Language
- General Awareness.
Each section has 25 questions, and the candidates have to complete the exam in 60 minutes. Candidates who qualify for the Tier 1 exam are eligible to appear for the SSC CGL Tier 2 exam. The Tier 2 exam consists of three papers, out of which Paper 1 is compulsory for all posts. Paper 2 is for candidates applying for the post of Junior Statistical Officer (JSO), and Paper 3 is for candidates applying for the post of Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer.
